True Love

I'm up really late again tonight, and I wanted to say so much about this book . . . but I guess it really doesn't need that much said about it. It is quite simple really.
Do you believe in love?
Do you believe there can be a lasting, eternal love for one other person here on earth?
Nonbelievers - just read, The Notebook, by Nicholas Sparks.
I believe it is probably my favourite book and it is truly the most loving of all love stories.
If you've seen the movie, it is good, but is bereft of the beauty of the words and the full experience of the story.
Get it, read it, love it.

I have not read the book but it sounds, as is usually the case, that the book is better than the film which is saying alot because I love the film and watched it for probably the 5th time just the other night. I will have to get the book now!

Hello Maggie

I have so behind with blogging for various reasons. I am glad to finally catch up. I love the film Nanny McPhee so does Phoebe. A lot of the modern films lack a certain quality that some of the older ones did but this one succeeds. We have seen it several times.
I have watched the beginning of the notebook but was interrupted and have not seen the rest yet. Must watch it soon. I have heard such mixed reviews about it that I want to find out for myself.
I hope that you have a good weekend
Take care
